Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how repair services, diagnosis, estimates, approvals, payments, parts, warranties and customer devices are handled by iFonewala.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By requesting a diagnosis, repair, replacement, cleaning or other service from iFonewala, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to them.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not authorise repair work.
2. Repair Services
iFonewala is an independent Apple device repair workshop in Gaffar Market, Karol Bagh, Delhi. We provide repair and diagnostic services for supported Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch, AirPods and AirPods Max.
3. Diagnosis, Inspection & Estimates
A diagnosis or inspection may be required before the exact repair, part requirement and final price can be confirmed.
- Prices shown online or communicated before physical inspection may be estimated or starting prices.
- Final estimates can change if additional faults, liquid damage, previous repair damage or underlying issues are discovered.
- Where applicable, additional work or cost will be discussed before proceeding.
4. Customer Approval Before Repair
Repair work will normally begin only after the customer has approved the applicable repair and price.
Once a repair has started, charges may apply for work already performed, parts ordered or parts installed, subject to the applicable repair and refund policy.
5. Device Data, Passcodes & Privacy
Customers should back up their device before handing it over whenever possible.
- For routine hardware repairs, a passcode should not normally be required unless testing or a specific diagnostic procedure requires access.
- Customers are responsible for their own backups of photos, messages, files and other data.
- iFonewala does not guarantee data will remain intact after repair, reset, software troubleshooting, hardware failure or other unforeseen events.
- Customers should remove sensitive accounts or information where practical before handing over a device.
6. Parts, Components & Replacement Quality
Depending on the repair, availability and customer-approved option, a device may be repaired using a genuine pull, OEM, compatible, refurbished or other specified replacement component.
The applicable part grade and warranty, where relevant, should be confirmed before repair approval.
7. Repair Warranty
Where a warranty is provided, its duration and coverage will be stated on the applicable invoice, warranty record or repair communication.
Warranty coverage may apply only to the repaired component or specified repair and may not cover unrelated faults, accidental damage, liquid damage, physical damage, misuse, unauthorised opening or subsequent third-party repair.
Customers should retain their invoice or digital warranty record when requesting warranty support.
8. Payment & Charges
- Payment is due according to the final approved repair quotation or invoice.
- Additional work or replacement parts outside the original approval may require separate approval and payment.
- Taxes, if applicable, will be handled according to the invoice and applicable law.
- Customers should check device and invoice details at handover and raise discrepancies with the workshop.
9. Repair Time & Parts Availability
Repair times are estimates and may vary depending on diagnosis, device condition, part availability, workload and repair complexity.
A same-day service indication does not guarantee completion within a specific number of hours unless a specific completion time has been confirmed.
10. Uncollected Devices
Customers should collect repaired or unrepaired devices within a reasonable period after being notified that the device is ready for collection.
If a device remains uncollected for an extended period, iFonewala may contact the customer using the details provided at service. Any further action will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the repair.
11. Limitation of Liability
Repair work is performed on electronic devices that may have pre-existing faults, hidden damage, liquid exposure, previous repair modifications or components that can fail during diagnosis or repair.
iFonewala will take reasonable care of customer devices while they are in the workshop. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, iFonewala cannot guarantee recovery of a device affected by pre-existing or hidden hardware damage, liquid damage, severe physical damage or other faults unrelated to the approved repair.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer right or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
12. Changes to These Terms
iFonewala may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services, procedures or applicable requirements. The latest version published on this website will apply to future service requests, subject to applicable law.
